A TRUE NORTHERN RYE
This is what happens when legacy and creativity intertwine. Rye being a grain well-suited for our chillier climate, the craftsmen at Distillerie du St. Laurent decided to give it plenty of room to express its unique terroir notes.
What we have here is a unique twist on the tried-and-true Canadian Rye. Fermented on grain with a mash bill of very local rye and malted barley, distilled twice in a full copper still before maturing 3 years by the sea in american virgin oak (2/3) and ex-whisky (1/3) casks, the St. Laurent Whisky Rye is an elegant, accessible yet wholesome spirit. Slightly spicy and bursting with fruity, sweet and wooden notes, this Rye is another testimony of our will to showcase the aromatic wealth of our corner of the world.

80% Rye • 20% Malted barley
TASTING NOTES
Apple, leather and sweet wine on the nose. In mouth, soft spices supported by hints of nuts, pepper, oak and brown sugar. Quite oily and round on the tongue - a signature trait of our aged offerings.
