ST. LAURENT WHISKY 3 GRAINS
RENEWING the TRADITION of CANADIAN WHISKY
The pioneers of the Distillerie du St. Laurent are dusting off the Canadian whisky tradition - often looked upon as bland and a tad boring - with an eccentric approach that mingles styles.
The mash being fermented on grain, the aromas of local cereals are freely expressed. After two distillations in our Scottish-type copper still, the result is a rich and full-bodied distillate. The spirit is then aged for 3 years in new charred oak casks. A great American classic revisited, St. Laurent 3 Grains Whisky is made with corn from Quebec as well as rye and malted barley from Bas-Saint-Laurent.
MASH BILL
75% Corn • 15% Rye • 10% Malted barley
TASTING NOTES
A grain and vanilla approach characteristic of American-style corn whisky, aromas of brown sugar and dried fruit, notes of orange peel, a spicy hint of rye. The slow pot still distillation delivers a long, mellow and smooth finish.
